The thread is ThreaDelight polyester. This kit contains 40 different colors, including
one cone of golden metallic thread! Each cone includes 1100 yards of thread.
Colors in this thread kit have been selected for cartoon-type designs, like Disney designs and so on. Most thread colors in this kit closely match Brother thread palette, recommended for Disney designs. Scroll down to take a look at large photo of thread colors.
A little more about the thread technical properties:
It's very strong, smooth 40 wt polyester. This thread is exceptionally shiny and colorfast. Perfect for items
that require frequent laundry, are exposed to sun or moisture - like kids clothing, bed & table linens.
Each cone has a small plastic leg. They are steady, leg diameter is 1.6 inches, cone height is 2.7 inches. A neat red cap covers the top of each cone. The caps are removable, and are designed to lock thread ends and prevent your thread from unwinding while you aren't embroidering.
